A New Environment for me...

I’ve been on a airplane dozens of times, usually in Europe or going to Europe. I’ve never been on a airplane that flys so close to the grown that you are able to see the waves in the ocean. At first glance, the water seems to have this total blue color, that looks almost too cartoonish. But then starring in the water for a bit longer, you start to see that the water has so much more dating than just that blue. The clouds create shadows on the surface of the water, and really at first glance it looks like a island. But then, you see the shadow, and you see how the cloud finds itself within the ocean. Then, you start to see a pattern on the water, made up of the waves. The pattern looks so much like leather, exactly like the leather I’m sitting on at the moment. It’s shocking honestly. But it’s shocking because when you think of the ocean, you just think of the surface. You think of a endless blue dessert that seems to never end. But really, it has so many more details, not only on the outside, but also on the inside. What creatures lure in the waters, what messages for humanity and our history are stored there? Really, we will never know untill we keep on looking, and letting our imagination run wild. So next time, look deeper into the photograph of the art, for it has lines, dots, and scratches that all have a history. And so do you.
